I am planning on releasing a map image pack for Unreal Tournament 3. I already have the stock map images, so I need images for any custom maps that anyone is willing to send. Please PM them to me in an archive attachment. Images must be 256x192 pixels in JPEG format and shouldn't have anything in the foreground. Images should represent the map well enough to be easily identifiable.

This is a collection of 130+ UT3 maps. Might be useful.

Thank you, but these images are the wrong size. UTStatsDB uses 256 x 192 pixel images.

I imagine they wouldn't be that difficult to resize, I could prob do it for you if you want to use them.

I'd rather have the full size images resized down to 256 x 192, otherwise the quality is even worse.

Ok, I have no idea where to find those though.

do you still need these? If so now that I am back up and running I am going to be needing to start on these also so I will of course share them. I would say within a couple weeks I should have an acceptable batch for you unless you tell me otherwise..

sorry to double I was in takin some screens earlier I am not sure how many I have and they need to be cropped and sized properly yet but the point Im here for is what all do you have for screens so far? do you have the stock maps? just curious so I know what not to spend the time on. I have 11 so far 10 of which will be perfectly acceptable but one has a message icon from one of the bots on the left side. Meh I will concentrate on the customs for the time being..

k.. so here are the first 11, if your ok with the quality then we are off and running.. cough .. ut3.exe has encountered an error.. lolz

Thanks, I'll have a look at the maps later and put the collection together to see what's there. One thing to keep in mind though with the images is that they need to be able to let someone know exactly what map it is just from looking at the image. So you need to try to find the most outstanding feature or landscape of a map to use for the screenshot.

Hey Panther any chance you still plan on releasing the ones you have. Would save me from having to make my own. Right now our server is only running stock maps. If i make my own, do you just put the images in the resource folder?

If you can get me images for the stock maps since the original UT3 release, I'll add them to the 95 map images I currently have and make a release.

Ok i will try. Im new to the series, does anyone know off the top of their head what the new maps are lol. No biggie ill just look at the patch notes and go from there.

I had to correct the file names, but I've finally completed the map pack. It is available in the download section under UTStatsDB-Extra.

why won't the images show up for me? i put them in a folder named images in the stats directory i uploaded the pics their and i also uploaded them in the folder they came mapimages and still nothing. i have stats/images with the pics and stats/images/mapimages and nothing:(i even set all permissions for 777 and nothing.

Rename the folder to "mapimages".
