Help please

Postby KillEmAll » Tue Oct 14, 2008 10:10 pm

I am new to this.
Everything seems to work, but i can't get the logs to upload, and the server shows offline all the time.
I am running ut3stats 1.01 and utstatsdb 3.03

http://www.drivenclan.com/utstatsdb-3.03/

UTStatsDB Query Configuration
Query Server: 216.52.148.164 Password:
Game Port: 6500 Query Type: UT3
Server Link: ut3://216.52.148.164:7777

[UT3Stats.UT3Stats]
bUploadLogs = True
UploadURL = http://www.drivenclan.com/utstatsdb-3.03/OLSendLog.php
UploadPass = *******
bParseLogs = True
ParserURL = http://www.drivenclan.com/utstatsdb-3.03/logs.php
ParserPass = ******

Thanks in advance for any guidance,
Billy

I'm not sure why the server shows offline in the query. I can query it from here with those settings. Perhaps your web server's firewall is blocking the outgoing port? Or perhaps your PHP installation does not have the sockets module loaded?

As for the built-in uploading, it does not appear to work very well right now. The best method is via FTP, but then if you're running Linux there are other issues with that (which will hopefully be corrected with the final UT3 1.3 release for Linux).

Thank you very much Panther. I will try moving it to another site, and will also try the FTP.
Thanks again for your quick and helpful response. I will reply back the results.

I'm still working on figuring out the problems with the upload function. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. It also seems to work better on my local server than on my public server. <shrug>

It was working somewhat on my test servers because I had both a UT3Stats.ini and UTUT3Stats.ini files. Rename UT3Stats.ini to UTUT3Stats.ini and that will help a lot. I changed it in the new release.
