Another serverquery problem

Postby horndog » Sun Jun 28, 2009 3:26 pm

I Just installed a UT3 server patched to ver 2. Everything works well but serverquery.
I install the latest serverquery.php ver 123, no joy. But I did get serverquery to work
on my test server on my laptop using my domain name as the IP. I can't get it to work
as localhost. Maybe this may help with a solution. If you would like to check it out my
address is http://horndogshouse.com query port=6500

Apache 2.2
php5
mysql 4
utstatsdb 3.06
UT3stats 1.04
UT3 patch 2.0

EDIT: I would like to add: I'm using a router with out the capability of Internet loop back so I'm
forced to use localhost.

If your UT server is configured to listen on a specific IP address, in which case it's not likely to be the localhost address (127.0.0.1), you will need to use that address for the server query.

It's a Dedicated server along with three ut2004 servers (that work with localhost)
I would be very surprised that no one thought that a UT3 server and a web server would
run on the same box. BTW I added my domain and game IP in my Host file, still nothing.
At least I can access my web sight from the same box using my domain. I would like to
here from others with the same config for any success stores.

Thanks,

I run UT3, UT2004, and UT '99 on the same server as a web server with no problem. Since I've set the specific IP for the games to use, I have to use the same IP address for the query. If you're running behind a NAT router, then this is your server's local IP address, not the outside IP that I'm referring to. This would only apply if you're using the multihome switch.

For the record I'm using Windows 2003 server. You gave me an idea and used my network IP and Bingo.
If you want, have a look http://horndogshouse.com. Thanks for brain storming with me.

FYI, there's an updated version of serverquery.php that fixes the team scores not showing correctly.

Still the same. My utstatsdb install on my test server shows the team scores side by side (red, blue). That is a fresh install of 3.06 (no updates)and my data base has been migrated through phpmyadmin. Some thing is braking the code on my server version.

I installed a fresh copy of 3.06 with the same data base and now team score is displaying right.
Thank again,
