UT3 Server Query

Postby Panther » Sun Jun 28, 2009 1:44 pm

Since the latest version of the UT3 server fixed some issues in queries with teams and introduced other weirdness, I've updated serverquery.php. You can download the current working version via SVN (or using WebSVN). You can safely update serverquery.php in any UTStatsDB 3.x version without affecting anything else.

The latest version brakes the mutator list in UT3. None show up.

Just tried it. Mutator list is there but the red and blue teams are gone.

BTW the download feature is a nice touch.

The team bars are showing up on your server, but there are no players currently to really tell what's going on.

I just noticed that. When there are players the bars are gone. I'll join for a while maybe you'll see then.

Seems good so far with one player.
By the way, you should host your map and mutator files on a high speed redirect. Downloads would go much quicker for new players.

Thanks for the game, Had fun. I'm using http://uz2.gameservers.net/ If its working. Seems to slow doesn't it?
I'll have to work on that. Word is they are shutting down the games server business so I'll redirect my self like on the rest of my servers. I loaded the update you just posted so I'll give it a test. Thanks again.

Wow! that was a shock, There redirect is still working. At least I can still login to the ftp. I remember when they opened the public redirect back in the ut2003 days. I had to figure out have to compress my files. Turns out it's just like using ucc.exe back in the day, but it's the UT3.exe. All seems to be working including the latest serverquery.php

Thanks again

Make sure that the socket module is loaded in PHP on that system and that they don't have firewall rules blocking outgoing connections from the web server.
